Severin Pflüger is a partner at Zürcher Rechtsanwälte AG and works as a lawyer providing comprehensive advice to companies - in particular manufacturing and trading companies. Another focus of his work is his many years as managing director of national industry associations: Among other things, he heads the Electronic Payments Association (VEZ) and acts as deputy managing director of HANDELSVERBAND.swiss. In these roles, he is responsible for the strategic and operational management of organizations and their legal support.
Severin Pflüger began his professional career as legal counsel at a leading telecommunications company. He has been a partner at Zürcher Rechtsanwälte AG since 2007 and was appointed a specialist judge at the Zurich Labor Court in the same year.
In addition to his work as a lawyer and managing director, Severin Pflüger has been politically active for many years: from 2009 to 2023 he was a member of Zurich City Council, and from 2016 to 2022 he chaired the FDP City of Zurich. These many years of leadership experience in business and politics give him a keen sense of strategic relationships at the interface of law, business and the public sector - as well as a deeply rooted network in Zurich and beyond.
